Hello friends,
We hope you all enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving, with plates full of local organic food. While we continue to wrap up this year’s harvest, our regular farm gate hours are now finished for the season. For those still hankering after late fall offerings like potatoes, squash, pumpkin, brussel sprouts, cabbage and rutabaga, you can still visit us by appointment. The easiest way to know what we still have available and to arrange to stop by, is to call us at home at (250) 396-7150.
Planning for spring 2023: For those of you who love plants and flowers, you’ll be happy to know that we’ll be back in the spring! We plan to be back at the local markets in May with a selection of annuals, herbs, baskets and vegetable plants.
Upcoming event: Medieval Market! Cariboo folks can mark their festive calendars for the annual Medieval Market in Williams Lake, which will take place November 19&20 this year. Sophia will be there with a selection of farm-kitchen delights such as green tomato pickles, hot peppy & garlic jelly and homemade baking. She’ll be sharing a booth with her wonderful neighbour Beau, who will be selling beautiful handmade linen clothing.
Blessings to you all – thank you for supporting local growers and makers.
